UMW will continue freeze in hiring - LINDLEY ESTES, the Free Lance-Star

The University of Mary Washington is continuing the hiring freeze implemented in August in light of recently released targeted cuts to state-funded higher education over the next two years. President Rick Hurley notified faculty and staff last week that across-the-board cuts have been imposed on each public college by the state.
