BUDGET DOWNFALL IS NOT A CRISIS - Ellen McGahan, Mount Observer

Mount Wachusetts Community College is experiencing a budget downfall that will last for at least the next few years. It is primarily due to a drop in enrollment from high school graduates and non-traditional students. According to Dr. Daniel Asquino, President at MWCC, It’s a combination of a decline in high school graduates; which is due to a lull in birthrates for individuals under the age of 19; and a decline in non-traditional student enrollments due to an improving economy which is allowing people to return to work and not school. http://www.mountobserver.com/2014/11/07/budget-downfall-is-not-a-crisis/
