Central Washington University closing $6.5 million budget gap by leaving 57 positions unfilled - THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Central Washington University says it's closing a $6.5 million budget gap this year by not filling 57 positions. The university in Ellensburg says 41 positions are already vacant due to a hiring freeze. And, it will not replace people who are retiring.
