Clinton Community College announced it is cutting faculty and staff positions to save money - WPTZ

On Monday, the board of trustees approved staffing changes in order to help close an expected $600,000 budget deficit next year. “I met with each individual … each of the eight individuals and delivered the bad news. I mean this is not a joyous day at the college by any means,” said interim president Fred Smith. Five employees were let go. Three employees will transition from working 12 months a year to working 10 months per year, and three other positions were eliminated through attrition. Three employees will also have reduced hours. http://www.wptz.com/news/college-changes-staffing/30244500
