USC to cut classes, layoff staff in Oneonta - Denise Richardson, Daily Star

The Utica School of Commerce is suspending most classes at its Oneonta campus in the spring semester, a step that means layoffs for eight or nine of the branch’s 14 employees, the school’s president said Friday. The adjustment, effective with the start of the term Jan. 20, is the result of declining enrollment, USC President Philip M. Williams said. Parking availability in downtown Oneonta for staff and students also was a problem, said Williams, who withheld enrollment figures for the local campus. http://www.thedailystar.com/news/local_news/usc-to-cut-classes-layoff-staff-in-oneonta/article_9ca880fd-5dee-51d8-86a8-aadd2439766a.html
