Enrollment decrease leads to budget cuts at Bay College - Jessica Stevenson, Upper Michigan Source

A nearly 17 percent drop in enrollment at Bay College in Escanaba caused a 3.8 percent budget decrease. In order to cut that $700,000 from their budget, three administrative positions needed to be eliminated and a couple employees were laid off. According to Bay College officials, these cuts were done strategically to minimize the effect on both their students and faculty. Now, they're introducing new programs to hopefully increase their enrollment. http://www.uppermichiganssource.com/news/story.aspx?id=1144865
