Illinois State University President Dietz addresses university financial concerns - Breanna Grow, Daily Vidette

“While a new gubernatorial administration may have thrust this issue back into the headlines, the concept of potential mid-year or following year cutbacks is nothing new to Illinois State or any Illinois public university,” said Dietz. “In consultation with our shared governance leadership, we will continue to perform the budgeting exercises we have been performing for years.” Confirming ISU’s preparedness for any possible budget changes, Chief of Staff Jay Groves told the Vidette, “The economy has been challenging in Illinois for more than a decade, so our financial leadership is used to making contingency plans in the case of fewer dollars. We constantly engage in that kind of financial planning.” http://www.videtteonline.com/index.php/2015/01/20/president-dietz-addresses-university-financial-concerns/
