Leadership change at Virginia State University - Associated Press

There has been a change of leadership at Virginia State University. The school’s 13th president, Keith Miller, stepped down this week amid a financial crisis at the Ettrick school. Pamela Hammond will step in as interim president as the search continues for a permanent leader. Hammond is the first female president in VSU’s 133-year history. The Progress-Index reports that the university faces a roughly 10 percent cut to its $183.4 million operating budget. http://www.newsleader.com/story/news/2015/01/01/leadership-change-virginia-state-university/21154691/
