Unrest at Grambling State University: Some faculty vote 'no confidence' - KTBS

Some Grambling State University professors are circulating a petition that called for a faculty wide vote of no confidence for Interim President, Dr. Cynthia Warrick. Dr. Cynthia Warrick said she is in the process of meeting with faculty members in an effort to repair this relationship, but some professors on campus say the problem is beyond fixing, and she should step down. Faculty Senate President Dr. Herbert Simmons said he has collected several signatures since November 13th. "We just felt that we have had a enough. We wanted to make it known that unless something changed, we were still going to be out there fighting for the faculty as well as for Grambling State University, said Simmons. Warrick faced criticism from Simmons that several of her newly appointed staffers had received sizable raises. This at the same time the university faced the prospect of millions of dollars worth of budget cuts http://www.ktbs.com/story/27691536/unrest-at-grambling-state-university-some-faculty-vote-no-confidence
