Black Hills State University lays off employees to address budget deficit - A Terry, Newscenter 1 TV

Black Hills State University is having to lay off 15 employees as it works to address a $1.5 million budget deficit. Some staff members were cut immediately and others will be let go in June, the start of the new fiscal year. University officials say the revenue shortfall is due to students taking fewer credit hours. Leaders attribute that decrease in hours to fewer high school graduates in South Dakota and an increase in the number of part-time students. http://www.newscenter1.tv/news/local/BHSU-Lays-Off-15-Employees-to-Address-Budget-Deficit-295118221.html
