Creative Destruction Picks up Steam in Higher Education - Richargd Vedder, Forbes

For four years, total higher education enrollments in the U.S. have been in decline. High cost schools with little endowment and mediocre reputation are viewed as the institutions in greatest peril. Small liberal arts colleges with only a local reputation, the lesser quality state universities, and many of the historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) have been considered vulnerable.
