UW chancellor warns of budget's effects on Sheboygan - Kali Thiel, Sheyboygan Press

Gov. Scott Walker's proposed biennial budget with its $300 million cuts to the University of Wisconsin System will undoubtedly mean a reduction in UW-Sheboygan staff and a change in the types of class offerings at the school, the new chancellor of UW Colleges and UW-Extension, Cathy Sandeen, said. Sandeen stepped into the role Dec. 15 and visited the UW-Sheboygan campus this week to meet with administrators, faculty and students to discuss the proposed budget, among other things. Sandeen said the hope still is that legislators will soften that $300 million blow, but in the event that it passes as is they have to be prepared, she in an interview Wednesday. http://www.sheboyganpress.com/story/news/local/2015/03/12/uw-chancellor/70234986/
