USNH officials hope Senate will reverse House cuts - Morgan Palmer, Fosters

University system and state officials say cuts to the University System of New Hampshire in the House's budget last week are cause for concern. The Republican-led House passed a two-year, $11.2 billion state budget this past Wednesday. The budget cut more than $300 million from Gov. Maggie Hassan’s proposed $11.5 billion budget. Around $28 million was cut from funds Hassan proposed be allocated to USNH. http://www.fosters.com/article/20150405/NEWS/150409641/14372
