Budget cuts at DePaul continue for 2015-16 school year - Brenden Moore, DePaulia

“I think we did the best we could,” economics professor Tom Mondschean, who serves as one of the Faculty Council representatives on the Strategic Resource Allocation Committee (SRAC), said. “We did not have as many resources as I would have hoped. The enrollment environment is stabilizing, but it’s not going up and so we really don’t have as much to work with as we’d like.” Revenue is forecasted at about $547.2 million for the upcoming fiscal year, about a 2.8 percent decline from 2014. Unlike public universities that receive funding from the state and private universities with large endowments, DePaul receives the vast majority of its revenue from tuition dollars. http://depauliaonline.com/news/2015/05/03/budget-cuts-at-depaul-continue-for-2015-16-school-year/
