Jobs tenuous for 100s of SIU instructors - Sarah Halasz Graham, the Southern

Illinois’s budget woes are about to hit close to home for hundreds of Southern Illinois University faculty and teaching staff. Over the next few days, college deans will be sending notice to most of the university’s more than 1,800 term faculty and graduate assistants that they might not have a job next year. Some faculty members already have received the news.
