Standard and Poor's puts UL, others on Credit Watch status - Ken Stickney, Gannett

Standard and Poor's Ratings Services has fired what one state official says is "a pretty serious warning shot" at five Louisiana public colleges and universities — including the University of Louisiana at Lafayette — placing their credit ratings on Credit Watch status with a negative outlook and possibly hampering future construction projects on their campuses.
