ISU board OKs tuition hike; expects state budget cut - Julie Gerke, Pantagraph

The Illinois State University Board of Trustees issued a "very modest" tuition fee increase Saturday in advance of expected cuts to its state appropriation. New full-time undergraduates who live in Illinois will pay $359.47 per credit hour, an increase of $10.47, through summer 2019. Over four years, the increase will be 0.74 percent. The university expects close to 20,300 students to enroll for fall classes, about the same as last year, said Greg Alt, interim vice president of finance and planning. http://www.pantagraph.com/news/local/education/isu-board-oks-tuition-hike-expects-state-budget-cut/article_299ddef1-45e4-5154-b8bc-a53b44328367.html
