UWEC grads talk budget cuts - Noel Anderson, WEAU

In his blog, which works to keep the campus up to date on the impact of the proposed cuts, UW-Eau Claire Chancellor Jim Schmidt says the university has worked hard to recruit a strong incoming class. “We are seeing stronger enrollment numbers this year, a reflection of the many contributions from faculty and staff across campus who have stepped up to help," says Schmidt. Anna Waller, a chemistry grad believes the university will continue to make sure the budget cut affects students as little as possible. “I have all the faith and trust in the world in Dr. James Schmidt and the other faculty that are working with the budget cuts. I know it will affect the university a little bit but I really think that the quality and excellence of Eau Claire will stay the same,” says Waller. http://www.weau.com/home/headlines/UWEC-grads-talk-budget-cuts-304825911.html
