Kilgore College faces numerous challenges to new budget - Glenn Evans, News-Journal

Cutting some 38 positions and the privatization of a five-member maintenance department at Kilgore College have set the table for a challenging budget-writing season for trustees this summer. "It's actually part of the bigger picture ... 'How do you move forward?' " college President Bill Holda said. "We have probably identified $2.5 million in cuts, and we still have about a million to go."
