Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) representatives said Thursday the university does not plan on implementing any furlough days as Illinois’ budget hangs in limbo and as another state university announces major budget cuts. Though declining enrollment is not a main problem at SIUE, an uncertain state budget leaves the university wondering how much funding will be cut, and when.
