LSU's credit outlook still remains lowered, despite state budget resolution - Julia O'Donoghue, The Times-Picayune

LSU's credit outlook is unlikely to be improved over the next year, even though the Louisiana Legislature made several moves to stabilize the school's state funding last month. Moody's Investor's Service said it doesn't have any plans to take another look at LSU's credit outlook for nine to 21 months. The credit rating agency had lowered LSU's credit outlook from "positive" to "stable" in April when concerns about Louisiana's ability to resolve its state financial crisis were raised. "When something is stable, we expect it to stay where it is," said David Jacobson, a Moody's spokesman, when questioned about revising LSU's credit outlook. http://www.nola.com/politics/index.ssf/2015/07/lsu_credit_outlook.html
