Miller College cuts staff - Safiya Merchant, Battle Creek Enquirer

The Miller College Board of Trustees voted Monday to eliminate five administrative positions at the college in light of the school's financial issues and other issues discovered by auditors, officials announced. Board Chairman AJ Jones said in an emailed news release to the Enquirer that the board's approval followed a recommendation from Interim President Donald Hunkins. Three of the eliminated positions are in the student services department, while the other two are in general administration. Faculty were not affected by the action.
