State Budget Crisis Affecting Both Prison and University Systems - WJOL

If you don’t make your truck payment, the dealer will come and get your truck. That’s the truth even if you’re the state of Illinois. The state’s prison system is confirming a report that a trucking company is taking back six semitrucks because the state is late in paying. Illinois owes 17-thousand dollars in unpaid invoices for the trucks. Meanwhile, the University of Illinois says more cuts will be coming if the state doesn’t find some money for the school soon. The big campus already ordered 24-million dollars in cuts. The school is also closing a recruitment office in California, and may shutter offices in China and India as well. Illinois is four months late in agreeing to a state budget. http://www.wjol.com/2015/10/29/state-budget-crisis-affecting-both-prison-and-university-systems/
