Richland continues dealing with state budget fallout - CHRIS LUSVARDI, Herald and Review

The Richland Community College Board of Trustees approved Tuesday the transfer from working cash funds of up to $2.155 million in an effort to cover the school's expenses in the spring. The transfer has become necessary as the college awaits a resolution to the state budget impasse, said Greg Florian, Richland vice president of finance and administration. The amount is an estimate of what is currently expected to be necessary to maintain operations, he said. The transfers will be made to the educational purposes and operations and maintenance purposes funds, Florian said. “We still have half a year to see what happens,” Florian said. “We continue to monitor what is going on with the state." http://herald-review.com/news/local/education/richland-continues-dealing-with-state-budget-fallout/article_7ca557e8-eaa2-569f-b1e3-7f3844884536.html
