University of Wyoming programs at risk with budget cuts - Wyoming News

The University of Wyoming may not be able shield academic programs from proposed state budget cuts, President Dick McGinity warned lawmakers Thursday. "The burden of previous cuts have fallen very heavily outside the academic enterprise, and that was by design," McGinity said. "But we've come to a point where in dealing with this cut to the block grant that it is going to be challenging. "I can't say to you that the academic enterprise will not be affected by it."
