U Wisconsin task force finishes writing faculty layoff rules - Molly Beck, Wisconsin State Journal

The System’s Tenure Policy Task Force, the body charged with writing the new rules, finished its work on Wednesday. The new rules expand the reasons universities can lay off faculty and create a new process professors must go through after they have received tenure.
