University of Montana finalizes budget cuts - Eric Clements, KRTV

University of Montana administrators have announced how many positions will be eliminated due to budget issues facing the institution. Following months of heated and often tense discussion we now know how many University of Montana employees will be laid off. UM President Royce Engstrom announced in a letter to students and staff today that 27 people will be laid off and 192 full time positions will be reduced by June 30 of this year. Of that number, 46 cuts come from unfilled positions and the rest from layoffs, non-renewal of contracts, retirements and adjunct reductions. http://www.krtv.com/story/31035842/university-of-montana-finalizes-budget-cuts
