New River budget-balancing cuts will include personnel - Bill Frye, Register-Herald

Declining enrollment, uncertainty in the state Legislature and a decrease in population is putting officials at New River Community and Technical College in a tight spot. The local community college announced Friday in a press release that it is making cuts at the college to ensure it complete the current fiscal year in a "balanced position."
