UW-Oshkosh outlines effects of state budget cuts - Jason Zimmerman, WBAY

The University of Wisconsin released new information Tuesday about how the loss of $250 million in state funding will affect each college campus. These reports were supposed to be presented at the UW Board of Regents meeting last week in Green Bay. Instead, the regents decided to postpone their release until now. Across the U.W. System, universities are reducing courses and cutting jobs. The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh is coping with the loss of more than $6.6 million from its previous budget. That’s a 14¼ percent drop in funding that makes up 40 percent of its operating budget — the rest coming from tuition. http://wbay.com/2016/04/12/uw-oshkosh-outlines-effects-of-state-budget-cuts/
