University of North Dakota announces budget cuts, including tuition increases - Anna Burleson, WDAY

With that, Schafer approved a 2 percent tuition increase and 2.5 percent tuition increase at the School of Law and School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Changes to the university's budget fiscal year 2017 budget total $21.5 million, according to a news release and campuswide message sent Wednesday afternoon. In the message, Schafer said the budget process is "part of a continuum," because it will take more than a month until some faculty and staff buyouts are finalized.
