UW-Stout announces more budget cut plans - Amanda Tyler, WEAU

The school year is winding down for students at UW-Stout. This weekend the university will hold its commencement ceremony, but leaders are already looking ahead at what the next school year will bring. It comes as no surprise to Provost Patrick Guilfoile that for the 2016-2017 school year resources will be stretched thin due to state budget cuts. “Resources are limited and it's a bit of a juggling act to figure out how best to allocate what we have available,” Guilfoile said. Guilfoile and other administrators have been collaborating to figure out how to cut $5.3 million dollars annually from the budget without directly affecting students. http://www.weau.com/home/headlines/UW-Stout-announces-more-budget-cut-plans-378362921.html
