UCF, Valencia spend more on advertising - Gabrielle Russon, Orlando Sentinel

UCF and Valencia College have ramped up their spending on advertising, which officials say is key to recruiting students and faculty, as well as promoting new programs. The University of Central Florida's ad expenditures have jumped nearly fivefold, from $217,237 in 2014 to $834,426 last year and nearly $1.1. million this school year, UCF reports.
