With state budget in place, regents cut nearly 16 percent from college budgets - KATHRYN McNUTT, The Oklahoman

Each of Oklahoma’s 25 public colleges and universities must develop a fiscal year 2017 operating budget and tuition plan with nearly 16 percent less in state funding than it had one year ago. On Friday, the regents allocated the $810 million for higher education included in the FY 2017 state budget shortly after the budget bill won legislative approval. The amount represents a $153.4 million or 15.92 percent decrease from the FY 2016 appropriation. http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/education/with-state-budget-in-place-regents-cut-nearly-percent-from/article_39ada462-78f6-5b28-84bc-a0f825c15ac2.html
