NMSU Budget Cuts Include 37 Jobs And 89 Open Positions - KRWG

New Mexico State University Chancellor Dr. Garrey Carruthers is scheduled to present a budget plan to the University Board of Regents on Wednesday. NMSU must cut approximately $12.1 million from its budget due to reductions in state funding, reduced enrollment, and the Regents' vote not to increase tuition. On Tuesday, Dr. Carruthers sent a memo to staff noting that the budget plan includes the elimination of 37 jobs and 89 open positions. http://krwg.org/post/nmsu-budget-cuts-include-37-jobs-and-89-open-positions
