Todd Stewart compares his athletic department’s budget challenges to defending the Alamo. The Western Kentucky athletic director has seen statewide budget costs and declining student enrollment eat into projected budgets. Now a new Conference USA television deal that distributes far less to the 14 member schools than the previous deal is causing revenue to shrink even further.
