IVCC sees lower enrollment; college confident trend will change - Brent Bader, My Web Times

Many colleges in Illinois have experienced shrinking enrollments and Illinois Valley Community College is no exception. Enrollment at IVCC for the fall semester is 52 students fewer than was present at the same point in time last year, which continues a decade long trend. Credit hours have seen a 1 percent drop in the same time frame. “If we were on an island by ourselves and we were the only ones experiencing it, we’d be really concerned, and we’re still concerned, but what we’re seeing is the continuation of a trend across the state,” said IVCC President Jerry Corcoran. http://www.mywebtimes.com/news/local/ivcc-sees-lower-enrollment-college-confident-trend-will-change/article_c2d3d6d7-d253-585d-81b0-5b2aa52b709c.html
