NWCCD candidates discuss maintaining morale - Mike Dunn, Sheridan Press

Board members at the Northern Wyoming Community College District are facing uncertain times. The school is responding to a 1 percent cut to its budget, and an additional 1.4 percent planned for 2017-18. Budget issues led to the elimination of seven jobs early this spring. While the board technically does not have direct oversight of the faculty at the college (as its only employee is NWCCD President Dr. Paul Young), decisions made by the board still have an impact on everyone who receives a paycheck at the college district. So, if budget cuts continue, how do board candidates plan to manage faculty morale? http://thesheridanpress.com/?p=62190
