Santa Fe Community College braces for up to $750K in funding cutbacks - Robert Nott, The New Mexican

Santa Fe Community College, like many colleges and universities around New Mexico, is preparing to trim spending ahead of expected statewide funding cuts for higher education. College President Randy Grissom said the school will hold a forum Thursday for students, staff and faculty to discuss the financial challenges, as well as plans to cut between $500,000 and $750,000 from the college’s $34 million annual budget — possibly as soon as this academic year. http://www.santafenewmexican.com/news/education/santa-fe-community-college-braces-for-up-to-k-in/article_4610f182-56ba-5b86-9594-8ef41fd5fbb2.html
