Parkland trustees approve layoffs of nontenured faculty - Tom Kacich, News-Gazette

Faced with the need to make more budget cuts as state support recedes, Parkland College trustees voted Wednesday night not to renew the contracts of eight nontenured faculty members. It is the first broad, faculty-related cut in the history of the 50-year-old community college.
