UM's worst fears confirmed: more cuts to come - Jenna Heberden, KULR

Last year's budget cuts and layoffs at the University of Montana are still fresh in peoples minds, but it isn't over just yet. In an emergency meeting Wednesday night, UM announces more faculty and staff will be laid off. According to a Kaimin article, UM President Royce Engstrom sent out an email to faculty and staff confirming more personnel and academic programs will be cut. In response to the news, faculty, staff and students gathered at the University Theater Wednesday night to express their worry about the University's plan to rank academic programs to help decide what stays, what goes, and what gets downsized. http://www.kulr8.com/story/33838705/ums-worst-fears-confirmed-more-cuts-to-come
