University Alaska Anchorage Students describe Budget cut impacts to lawmakers - Dan Carpenter, KTUU

Alaska University of Alaska Anchorage students spoke to legislators Thursday about the impacts they’re seeing as the result of budget cuts. “There’s no more fat to cut. We’re already cut into muscle and getting at what is the heart of this university,” said Jacob Shercliffe, a UAA student in the College of Arts & Sciences. The open mic event was called “Cutting Smart” where students were able to speak with lawmakers before big budget decisions are made next year. http://www.ktuu.com/content/news/UAA-Students-describe-Budget-cut-impacts-to-lawmakers--404180496.html
