U of L interim president says big cuts are needed to balance budget; Bridgeman quits board - Chris Larson, Louisville Business Journal
The University of Louisville is going to need to reduce its spending for the next academic year. The university has a $48 million gap between its expected revenues and expenses, Dr. Greg Postel said in his first address as interim president to the school's board of trustees. In a meeting with local media earlier this week, Postel guaranteed that the university would have a balanced budget despite the university not raising tuition for the 2017-18 academic year.
