Duquesne Closes Its University Press Due to Budget Cuts - Associated Press

The financially ailing Duquesne University Press is shutting down after 90 years. Press Director Susan Wadsworth-Booth tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (http://bit.ly/2oJieKU ) that operations will wind down over the coming months. The press has published scholarly books since 1927. Duquesne University officials say the publisher was operating at a deficit and could not be supported without taking resources from school programs.
