University students rally for increase to higher ed budget - The Associated Press

Students at the University of Montana and Montana State University held rallies seeking an increase in state funding for higher education. Organizers urged students to contact their local lawmakers about how the cuts would affect them. The governor called for a $12 million cut in the budget for the office of the Commissioner of Higher Education compared to the 2015-2017 funding. Lawmakers initially cut another $11.6 million, but have restored that money. http://www.kulr8.com/story/35024215/university-students-rally-for-increase-to-higher-ed-budget
