College OK’s budget with less revenue, fewer positions - The Argus Observer

The Treasure Valley Community College budget for 2017-18 has been officially approved, with a loss of revenue and positions tied in. The college’s board of directors approved the $67 million total budget during its board meeting on Tuesday, with no amendments, said Abby Lee, the college’s public information director. The formal passage of the budget comes about a month after the college’s budget committee approved the budget, which will see the community college with a loss of nearly half a million dollars in revenues, cuts and the elimination of positions. The Small Business Development Center didn’t get cut, but two support positions were, however. http://www.argusobserver.com/news/college-ok-s-budget-with-less-revenue-fewer-positions/article_0067bc88-5835-11e7-96e2-837ccee1cfe8.html
