The university will have its budget reduced by 8 million dollars, but students won't likely notice. “It’s sort of, going on a starvation diet until you gain some weight," said Florida Gulf Coast President Mike Martin. FGCU's operating budget is being reduced by 6%, because it did meet state performance testing standards.
