FGCU's operating budget is being reduced by 6%, because it did meet state performance testing standards. The university is delaying a planned dental school and won't fill vacant positions to make up for the budget cut. “There are 5 areas I’m going to watch closely, Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, Career Placement, and Campus Safety," said Martin.
