Several members of the College of New Rochelle faculty laid off in June have followed through on threats to sue the school, according to a document filed in state Supreme Court on Wednesday. Fourteen professors, as well as the faculty senate and council also named as petitioners in the lawsuit, accused the college of wrongfully terminating their employment at the school after college officials failed to follow the process outlined in the faculty handbooks. The college, its board of trustees and Dorothy Escribano, the school's interim president, are named as defendants.
