University of Nebraska-Lincoln administrators and faculty leaders will identify $8.5 million in budget cuts by Nov. 15 with the intention of implementing those cuts in the spring semester, the university said Friday. Chancellor Ronnie Green will ask his administrative team to submit budget proposals by Nov. 1, with Green turning over a budget reduction outline to UNL’s Academic Planning Committee in mid-November.
