Keene State College says budget concerns won't mean staff cuts - Mike Cherry, WMUR

Keene State College is adjusting its curriculum because of budget concerns, but administrators said they will not cut staff members. Officials said enrollment numbers at the college have taken a significant hit since 2014. But Keene State president Melinda Treadwell said the college is close to digging itself out of a multimillion-dollar hole. Students said they have heard rumors that a budget shortfall could affect faculty and staff. "I think we've already suffered a healthy dose of cuts already," student Grace Rutherford said. "So I believe it would be detrimental to have even more cutbacks for the school." Treadwell said that even though the college is millions of dollars in debt, there's no cause for concern. http://www.wmur.com/article/keene-state-college-says-budget-concerns-wont-mean-staff-cuts/13980194
