WKU regional chancellors eliminated due to budget shortfall - DANIEL SUDDEATH, Glasgow Daily

Facing a $15 million budget shortfall, Western Kentucky University announced last month it would return its regional campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown to the Division of Extended Learning and Outreach. On Friday, the university confirmed that the regional chancellors at those campuses have been eliminated. Sally Ray has been WKU-Glasgow's regional chancellor since 2011. "As we announced earlier, the regional campuses are transitioning back to the Division of Extended Learning and Outreach," said WKU Media Relations Director Bob Skipper on Friday in response to an email from the Glasgow Daily Times. "How the administrative structure will look is currently being studied." http://www.glasgowdailytimes.com/news/wku-regional-chancellors-eliminated-due-to-budget-shortfall/article_5c1c79d8-23e6-11e8-a6d8-0bb066e9a499.html
